The first thing we want our patients to know is that if your insurance provider is listed on this page, then, YES, we do continue to accept your insurance!
Why is this important? Because many patients are hearing that TOA is out of network with their insurance providers. Please know, that this is NOT correct information.
What should I do if my insurance provider tells me that TOA no longer accepts my insurance? Absolutely nothing! If your insurance provider is listed below, rest assured that we are in-network and will continue to be.
Why is this happening now? Although it was announced several months ago, our merger with TOA does not become official until January 1, 2021. It is this transition that is causing the automated responses from insurance providers. It is simply a timing and technical issue that will not disrupt your medical services.

Below is a list of insurance plans that TOA currently accepts. Our list is for reference purposes only and is subject to change. We encourage you to check with your health plan to confirm that Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is included. TOA may participate in some, but not all, products offered by a health plan. Coverage limitations are dependent on individual group contracts.
Please note that although listed on UHC’s website, we DO NOT participate in UHC’s Compass network.
