Proudly Serving for Over 20 Years

Throughout the past 20 years, TOC has continued to invest in technologies and facilities to improve quality of care for our patients. We’ve invested in men and women, who ethically manage and transform our company and services. We’ve invested in a competent and caring medical staff, many of whom have been with us for 20, 30 and even 40 years. We began this journey with 99 employees at four locations. Today, with over 500 team members at 7 locations and over 200% growth, our forward-thinking leadership stays ahead of the trends, keeping relationships with peers a priority, and recruiting the best of the best physicians and staff.

1997

Founded

Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics surgeons have been part of the Knoxville community since 1965. In 1997, to help reduce costs and increase efficiency, several small groups of surgeons merged to become Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance. The new medical practice opened with clinics at Fort Sanders, St. Mary’s, Parkwest, Oak Ridge and part-time in Lenoir City.
