B. Dale Sharpe, D.O.

Foot and Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Dale Sharpe spent much of his childhood moving throughout the eastern United States, though East Tennessee always remained home for his immediate and extended family. He earned his degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, where he also served as a student athletic trainer for the football and baseball teams. Dr. Sharpe received his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio, and went on to complete a Foot and Ankle Surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Sharpe is board-certified and specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions, including arthritis, sports injuries, fractures, deformities, and other lower extremity disorders, with expertise in ankle replacement, arthroscopy, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Outside of orthopaedics, Dr. Sharpe enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
